Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because each journal is handcrafted specifically for its release, all sales are final and we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges.
Please note that full-grain vegetable-tanned leather naturally carries unique markings, creases, and tonal variations. These characteristics are part of the hide’s authenticity and are disclosed in each listing.
That said, your experience matters deeply to us. If your order arrives with an issue, please reach out within 7 days of delivery and we’ll gladly review it and make it right.
What kind of leather do you use?
We use full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather selected for its strength, character, and ability to age beautifully. Our hides are sourced from heritage tanneries that honor time-tested, responsible methods of tanning.
Left untreated, the leather deepens and softens with use, developing a patina unique to you.
How are the notebooks made?
Each piece is cut, assembled, and finished by hand in small batches. We do not mass produce, and we do not outsource production.
What inserts fit inside?
Our notebooks are designed to fit standard insert sizes (A6, Passport, etc.). We recommend measuring your preferred inserts before purchasing to ensure compatibility.
Our Trifold Traveler’s Notebooks measure approximately 6.3” long by 4.3” wide when closed.
How should I care for my notebook?
Crafted from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, your journal will naturally soften and deepen in tone as it develops a rich patina over time.
To preserve its beauty:
- Keep dry and avoid prolonged sun exposure
- If wet, allow to air dry naturally. Never apply heat
- Avoid cleaning with water; wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth only
- Condition sparingly, only when the leather feels dry
Use a light, neutral conditioner made primarily with beeswax or plant-based waxes (such as carnauba). Products with minimal oils and a wax-forward formula are best.
Avoid mink oil, neatsfoot oil, heavy oil-based conditioners, silicone sprays, and petroleum-based products, as these may darken the leather or cause dye transfer.
Always spot test in a discreet area before full application.
Natural marks and scuffs are part of the leather’s character.
Do you offer custom orders or personalization?
At this time, we do not offer customizations or made-to-order pieces. Each drop is thoughtfully designed and produced in limited quantities as listed.
